The upcoming track will feature a music video filmed in South Korea, directed by Linkin Park’s DJ and creative director, Joe Hahn.
On October 23 (Wednesday), the nu-metal and rock legends announced the upcoming release of their new single titled “Over Each Other,” which is scheduled to drop on October 24 (Thursday). The track will have its world premiere on BBC Radio 1’s New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
“Over Each Other” is the third single from the band’s upcoming eighth studio album, From Zero, set to release on November 15. It follows the previous singles “The Emptiness Machine,” released on September 6, and “Heavy Is The Crown,” which came out on September 24. Notably, “Heavy Is The Crown” serves as the official theme song for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship.
After the single’s premiere on BBC Radio 1, a music video — filmed in South Korea and directed by Linkin Park’s DJ and creative director, Joe Hahn — will debut on the band’s official YouTube channel at 2:00 AM (PHT). Be sure to tune in!
In an Instagram post on October 19, Hahn shared that the music video was filmed a few nights after their concert in Seoul on September 28, with him and new co-lead vocalist Emily Armstrong remaining in the city to work on it. “Directing a project in Korea has always been a dream of mine, and it finally happened!” he said, highlighting how they “embraced the K-ness of it all and made it feel like a K-drama.” He also expressed his gratitude to the cast, crew, and the rest of Linkin Park. “As always, Emily delivered an incredible performance. I can’t wait to share this with all of you next Thursday.”
